Mahesh Thakur: The cool father

Mahesh Thakur was not seen on TV for a long time. But he’s back now. He’s playing the cool dad in Sasural Genda Phool.
“I loved the way director Ravi Ojha explained the role to me,” says Mahesh, who was reminded of his Sailaab days. “He was also open to creative inputs from me. The whole approach was like how it used to be earlier in serials.” Mahesh’s also busy these days with his play Saath Rahega Always.He’s doing a play after six years and naturally is quite excited about it. It’s not just TV and theatre, there are two films coming up as well— Office Office and Zokohmon — later this year. Lots to look forward to...
