Mahekk Chahal on the viral video: It was a random scene that Tejasswi and I did, never expected it to go viral

From Janhvi Kapoor to almost 80K users have made some hilarious videos on a ‘Walk kar rahe hain’ scene from Tejasswi Prakash and Mahekk Chahal starrer show, Naagin 6. During a chat with Mahekk, who is a part of this supernatural show and the viral video, we couldn’t help but ask about the scene and why it became so popular. She also chatted with us about her camaraderie with co-stars on the sets and how they are a fun gang. ‘Had not expected the video to go viral’When asked about the viral video which had the Instagram community in splits, Mahekk shares, “It was a random, few seconds long dialogue between Tejasswi and me. Neither of us were trying to make it viral or deliberately funny. I think the accent made it interesting, but it was a part of the character Tejasswi played. When you try to make a video go viral it doesn’t, and then such random videos go viral (laughs).” She further adds, “People have been tagging me and Tejasswi in all the reels and watching them has become our guilty pleasure. Of all the reels, we loved the ones where some older people posted their hilarious take on it.”Not just that, the actress also shares a great camaraderie with her costars, with whom she often posts videos on social media. “We all are actually good friends, and whenever we get a break, we all keep chatting, pulling each other’s legs or making videos. We are working 14 hours a day together, so you are bound to get along well and be each other’s friends. Tejasswi, Simba (Nagpal), Urvashi (Dholakia) and I keep doing fun things to make work better. But I would say Simba and I get along the best with each other because we connect over a lot of common things,” she says.
