Ekta Kapoor's newest show Kavach which will soon mark the fiction debut of
Mahek Chahal
and return of
Mona Singh on TV seems to have hit a roadblock. Mahek, who is playing the antagonist Manjulika, met with an accident on Sunday and the actress is currently not shooting.
While reports in the media hint at the actress being out of the show, Mahek on the other hand says she will resume shooting from June 4.

I tore my ligament and also fractured my knee. The production house Balaji has been very kind and they have given me a three to four day break so currently I am resting."
When asked, how will she continue with the show, the actress said, "I can't predict the future but right now I am on pain killers and very much part of the show. I will resume shooting on June 4. I will be meeting a specialist soon and then I will be in a better position to decide. He is one of the top doctors from Ambani hospital. He is a physiotherapist for Mumbai Indian's team so I am just keeping my fingers crossed and praying I will be fine soon. I am walking on crutches."
Well, we pray for Mahek's speedy recovery.
