Madirakshi Mundle is all set to become a part of a mythology show, again. The actress, who was last seen playing

Goddess Lakshmi

in 'Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi — Kahani Mata Rani Ki', will portray the role of Goddess Parvati in '

Vighnaharta Ganesh

'. Madirakshi has replaced

Akanksha Puri

, who quit the show due to personal reasons.

Madirakshi says, “I am looking forward to moving to Aamgaon. It is a green zone, and it will be a good break, as we have not been able to go anywhere out of Mumbai due to the pandemic. Given the COVID-19 situation, the team members live there and visit their families only once a month. I will miss my family, but the

pandemic

is not getting over anytime soon, and we have to continue working. My husband is also working and he will manage for the time I am away.”

She also adds, "Since we live with my parents, we have taken extra precautions during the pandemic. We have not stepped out at all for the last 6-7 months. My husband and I always ordered groceries online. We have not even stepped out to walk in the building compound."

Madirakshi is not worried about being typecast in mythological roles. She says, “I have been a part of many mythological shows, so the only thing left for me now is to say ‘Tathastu’! I have done a regular social drama (

Jaat Ki Jugni

) earlier, but people remember me more for my mythological shows. It is all about work, so I am not worried about being typecast.”
