Laughter Chefs family Bharti Singh, Reem Shaikh and Jannat Zubair celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, known for celebrating festivals with family and close friends, kept up the tradition this year as well. The couple made the Raksha Bandhan celebration even more special by celebrating it with their Laughter Chefs family. Not just Vicky's sister Varsha Jain, but Laughter Chef 2 host Bharti Singh, and fellow contestants Jannat Zubair and Reem Sameer were also seen tying rakhi to Vicky. Ankita was seen tying Rakhi to her brothers as well as to her Laughter Chef co-contestant Samarth Jurel.
Ayesha Khan, who met Ankita and Vicky on Bigg Boss 17 and formed a close bond on the show, also visited the couple's house and tied Rakhi to Vicky.
Ankita took to her Instagram account to share beautiful photos from the celebration. The actress explained in the caption of her post, why the festival is so close to her heart, Ankita wrote, "For us, Raksha Bandhan isn’t just about a thread, it’s about the promise we’ve kept all our lives...to love and protect each other, no matter what."The Pavitra Rishta actress shared some lovely pictures from their 2025 Raksha Bandhan celebrations at home.
Ankita added, "Here’s a little glimpse into how we celebrated this beautiful bond that means the world to us with the people we call our home.. #happyrakshabandhan," Reem responded to the post with two red heart emojis. Ankita looked stunning in a blue saree, while Vicky complemented her look in a pink kurta paired with white pyjamas.
Recently, in an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Vicky spoke about Laughter Chefs and how everyone takes jokes sportingly, "On Laughter Chef, there are no boundaries like that. Everyone is free to say anything, and more importantly, they also listen and laugh along. Outside the show, people get offended easily or ignore the joke completely. But something magical happens once we enter that set—people transform. You just can’t say anything hurtful to anyone. It’s all in good spirit. Take Nia for example, people pull her leg all the time, but it’s taken with laughter because that’s the vibe of the show."
