Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Tulsi returns to Shanti Niwas, Mihir gets emotional as family reunites
The scene starts on an emotional note as Tulsi is seen spending some quiet moments with her son Gomzy during a drive. In the conversation, there are indications of unfinished tasks in the family, and at the same time, Karan seems restless. He immediately approaches Mihir and asks him to come outside, indicating that Tulsi’s plan is slowly falling into place once again. A little later, Tulsi arrives at Shanti Niwas unexpectedly, surprising Mihir and confusing him about the reasons for his return.
The story then takes a flashback in which Karan is seen calling Gomzy to talk about his parents and the condition of the home. He explains to Gomzy that Shanti Niwas cannot be complete without Tulsi, as she is the strength that holds everyone together. Karan explains his idea of bringing back Tulsi to the Virani home and asks Gomzy to assist him in doing so.
Back in the present, Tulsi enters the house and is immediately overwhelmed by a flood of memories as they come flooding back into her mind. Mihir and Tulsi request Gomzy to stay with them, but he refuses. He explains that his wife Damini and his son Nakul need him, and he wishes to bridge the gap that has developed between them. After seeking his parent’s blessings and meeting his other family members, Gomzy says his goodbyes and leaves.
Mihir finally welcomes Tulsi into his home by performing the grih pravesh ritual. The scene is very emotionally charged for both Tulsi and Mihir as it reminds them of the good times they once spent together in the same home. Tulsi is shown to be performing the pooja ritual very devotedly, and Mihir is shown to be watering the tulsi plant, signifying a new start for his family.
Later on, Tulsi lovingly serves food to the children. She also sits with everyone at the dining table. In this way, Tulsi re-creates the warmth of the house, which had been missing for a long time. Seeing all of this, Mihir gets emotional. She confesses that the absence of Tulsi had created a void in her life.
But the peace does not last for a long time. Vrinda starts talking about an important matter. She talks about sending her children to boarding school. She says that the living conditions may not provide the children with the opportunities they deserve. Living at the Virani house may give the children a better future. Tulsi listens carefully to Vrinda. She supports Vrinda's decision. She also convinces Mihir to agree.
In the coming promo of Sobha, it has been depicted how Sobha expresses her concerns to Mihir regarding the Virani house, as something does not feel right inside the house, even though Tulsi has returned and everything seems back to normal.
