Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2 which brings back the beloved pair of Tulsi-Mihir played by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay is getting love from the audiences even after 25 years of the show. The second season which went on-air from July 29th has been churning out some high voltage drama and keeping the audiences hooked on to the show.
While the cast keeps audiences entertained on-screen, off-screen, lead actor Amar Upadhyay is marking a special occasion, he is celebrating his birthday today, August 1. To make his day even more special, actress and his co-star Smriti Irani took to the social media account to wish him a 'happy birthday' in her own unique style.
The birthday message video also features Amar, who thanks Smriti and all the fans. In the clip, Smriti can be seen asking fans to send their blessings and love to the actor.
Amar is having a working birthday and he was spotted on the sets shooting for this show. He celebrated his birthday on the sets with the media representatives and also cut a beautiful cake.
Recently, in an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Amar opened up about his experience of reuniting with Smriti on-screen, he said, " "Bilkul pehle ki tarah hai Smriti ke saath kaam karna. In fact, we did not feel even once that we are returning after 25 years. We both were even discussing this that it never felt we were away for 25 years as Mihir and Tulsi. Aisa lag raha tha ke ye show bus chal he raha tha as it is and we are the same like we were earlier. Very normal, friendly, laughing, joking around, wohi masti mazak sabke saath wohi mahaul tha. The environment felt just the same as before, warm and welcoming. That’s why it’s so important for senior actors to create a positive vibe on set, it helps new actors feel comfortable and included. The atmosphere was so friendly that it didn’t even feel like the show had ended; it felt like we were simply continuing from where we left off."
