'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' March 15 written update: Karan and Nandini's separation leaves Tulsi and Mihir speechless
Nobody saw it coming. The 15th March 2026 episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' opened with Karan and Nandini sitting Mihir and Tulsi down with news that stopped everyone cold. They were separating. Not divorcing, but separating. Nandini would stay in India, and Karan would move to the United States. The two of them had already made up their minds and were not there to discuss it. Tulsi heard it all and could not bring herself to accept it.
Karan had more to say. He told Mihir and Tulsi that for years, the two of them were the couple he measured everything against. They were his idea of what a marriage should look like. When they fell apart, that picture broke. Mihir chewed on that for a bit and then floated the idea that maybe this whole separation was not real, that Karan and Nandini were putting on a show to nudge him and Tulsi back together. Tulsi was not buying it. She said Samara was not someone who would play games like that. Even so, both of them felt that sitting on their hands was not an option. Something had to give.
Later in the evening, Tulsi got on the phone with Mihir, and the conversation turned to Gautam. She wanted him at Munni and Ritik's sangeet the next day. Having all the children in the same room again meant something to her. The family did come together for the sangeet, and the night had a good energy to it, lots of music and people on their feet. At some point during the evening, Mihir gathered Angad and Ritik and told them plainly that he knew he had hurt Tulsi and that her being cold with him was on him. But he was not throwing in the towel just yet. "Picture abhi baaki hai," he said, and left it at that.
Before Munni and Ritik got up to perform, the two of them had a quiet moment alone that was genuinely sweet. When Karan got onto the dance floor with Nandini and Samara, watching her parents move together, it got to Samara in a way she was not fully prepared for.
The moment the spotlight was off them, Nandini leaned over to Karan and reminded him that the smiles and the dancing were all for Samara. When the night ended, so did the act.
Tulsi recorded a voice message for Gautam asking him to show up for the wedding. Mihir did not think he would come. Tulsi kept turning it over in her head, trying to figure out how to make Gautam feel like the family still had a place for him. Mihir gently pushed back, saying that letting Gautam's absence cast a shadow over Ritik's celebration would not be right.
While Munni and Ritik danced together, Ajay drifted off into his own thoughts, imagining himself on the dance floor with Pari. Mihir reached out his hand to Tulsi and asked her to dance. She said no. But Samara and the rest of the family would not take no for an answer, and after enough nudging, Tulsi finally stepped onto the floor with him.
Sangeet, secrets, and a dance floor moment
Away from all of that, Angad found a quiet moment with Vrinda and brought up the boarding school idea. Was it really the right thing to do? Vrinda thought it made sense, at least for now, but thinking about days without her children around hit her harder than she expected. She asked Angad to give her his word that they would go see the kids every week without fail. Neither of them noticed that Pari had been standing close enough to hear every word. Angad clocked her and asked her to keep it to herself.Later in the evening, Tulsi got on the phone with Mihir, and the conversation turned to Gautam.
