'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' 29th May written update: Khushbu's lies exposed as Rio is freed from jail

In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Tulsi sits quietly, and Nandini comes to give her water. Nandini tells Tulsi she warned her not to bring Rio to this house, and she was right about her decision. Nandini says Rio is like his father. Tulsi admits she was wrong. Damini is upset and tells Tulsi that Gautam is not ready to believe Rio is lying. Damini says she had an argument with Gautam and wants to sleep in her room.

Karan defends Rio

Karan calls Tulsi and tries to defend Rio. Tulsi tells Karan that Khushbu identified Rio as the person who hurt her. Karan tells Tulsi that Khushbu might be confused. Karan promises to talk to Gautam to prove Rio is innocent. Tulsi tells Karan about what Parth said. Karan tells Tulsi he will prove Rio is innocent. Tulsi tells Karan she won't talk to anyone because no one believes Khushbu's story.

Tulsi grows suspicious

Tulsi comes to Khushbu's room and sees her using her phone. Tulsi knocks the phone away and gives her water. Tulsi mentions seeing her with the phone. Khushbu tells Tulsi she can't see. Khushbu asks what time it is and learns it's 10:30 pm, so she drops the idea of calling her father. Tulsi wants to stay with Khushbu. Khushbu falls asleep with her phone. Tulsi feels something is wrong and remembers Rio's explanation. Tulsi thinks she may have sent an innocent person to jail. Tulsi quietly takes Khushbu's phone and reads the messages. She is shocked to discover that Khushbu can see perfectly and was texting someone.

The truth comes out

The next day, Tulsi asks Khushbu to eat something and she refuses. Munni asks Khushbu to have food and mentions that Rio is in jail so she doesn't need to worry. Tulsi tells Munni that Khushbu is worried about something else. Tulsi asks Khushbu if she is afraid of the truth. Khushbu tells Tulsi she is not afraid of anyone. Tulsi tells her to stop acting. Everyone asks Tulsi what happened and she yells at Khushbu. Tulsi reminds Khushbu that she can see perfectly and was texting at 10:26 pm. Tulsi tells Ritik to check Khushbu's phone. Munni takes it forcefully to check. Munni learns that Khushbu lied and can see properly. Munni shouts at Khushbu because an innocent person is in jail because of her. She says Khushbu became greedy after seeing the nice house.

Khushbu's confession

Khushbu tells Munni that Rio always humiliated her, which is why she blamed him. Khushbu tells Tulsi nothing happened that night. A security guard came to give her an umbrella. Khushbu was enjoying the rain and planned to stay in Shantiniketan forever. She tore her clothes and hurt herself, then started screaming. Tulsi blames Khushbu for ruining Rio's life and asks if she played this game on purpose. Tulsi tells Khushbu she made false charges against Rio and asks Gautam to complete the paperwork. Tulsi asks Khushbu to come with her to the police station. Khushbu apologizes to Munni. Tulsi takes Khushbu with her and regrets trusting her.

Rio is released

Everyone is shocked. Gautam tells Nandini she has criticized a lot. Dev tells Parth that Rio was innocent. The police conclude that Rio is innocent and are ready to release him. The police ask Gautam to complete the paperwork so they can take Rio home. The police take Khushbu to jail. Khushbu begs for forgiveness, but Tulsi wants her to be punished. Rio is now free and meets Tulsi at the police station, but he doesn't talk to her.

Rio decides to leave

Niyati shows care for Rio and asks if he is alright. Rio tells Niyati they will not stay here anymore. Tulsi asks them not to go. Tulsi admits her mistake, but Niyati refuses to stay.
