'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' begins when Tulsi warns Noina never to bother any of the Virani women again, telling her that she will cross all limits if provoked. Tulsi makes it clear that Noina's story in their house ends right here. She shuts the door while Suchi holds onto Noina. The Virani women burn with anger as Noina stares at them helplessly.
Mihir rushes into the house and starts destroying things in his anger. Tulsi tells him to calm down, but Mihir says he always knew Noina was a complete fraud. He questions why Noina keeps coming between them. Karan tries to help Mihir relax. Tulsi admits her mistake in trusting Noina and takes full responsibility. She explains that she was following Baa's tradition of helping anyone who was dying. Tulsi calls it her biggest mistake and tells Mihir that because of her, he gave Noina another chance. She was afraid Noina would die in their house, so she brought her in.
Mihir assures Tulsi that she did not do anything wrong and that she takes care of everyone. Tulsi tells that her family has gone through numerous issues due to her choices. Karan informs Tulsi that there is no need to apologize since she was doing all this on behalf of humanity. He says she should let go of the guilt. Sobha and Nandini tell Tulsi she always stands against evil and protects the house. Ritik tells his mother that he is proud of her. Pari says no one in the world is like her. Mihir hugs Tulsi and tells her that everyone loves her deeply.
The celebration begins
Mihir tells everyone that no one will ever speak Noina's name again and asks Tulsi to promise him. Tulsi makes the promise and thanks Munni for helping her expose Noina's lies. Tulsi calls Munni her collector daughter and thanks her. Karan reveals he was acting the whole time to help. Ritik calls Munni a silent hero. Sobha tells Tulsi to rest now that this chapter is closed.
Mihir asks everyone to celebrate because a big negativity has left the house. Pari and Ritik suggest having a party, and Mihir asks the entire family to celebrate together.
Mihir saves the diya from getting blown out and tells Tulsi he was not guilty. He asks her to forgive him. Tulsi tells him to forget everything. Mihir compliments her, saying she was like an action heroine fighting a villain. Mihir and Tulsi stand close together while the children happily watch them reunite.
A mysterious meeting
Suddenly, Karan receives a call telling him to meet someone at a cafe right away. Nandini overhears this conversation. Karan goes to the cafe, and Nandini follows him because she wants to know who he is meeting. Nandini sits at a nearby table and sees a man talking to Karan. She learns that Karan is meeting with a lawyer. When Karan spots Nandini in the cafe, he asks what she is doing there.
Dev and Saloni's tension
Dev tells his father that he has a lot of work but wants to send Saloni on an errand. Saloni refuses to go and comes to speak to their father instead. Saloni tells him that Dev should stay and focus on his work. Dev gets confused about why Saloni is acting strangely. Tulsi asks Dev why he is speaking to her like that. Tulsi tells Saloni to come to her if Dev ever bothers her, and she will teach him a lesson. Tulsi prays for her children's happiness.
Nandini asks Karan what he is doing with a lawyer and whether he is filing for divorce. She questions him about Malabar Hills. Karan tells her he will answer all her questions and takes her with him.
Gautam is happy that Tulsi threw Noina out of the house. Tulsi tells Gautam that he will have to stay at Shantiniketan like Karan until his work is done. Tulsi tells him she will ask Damini to bring him. Gautam says he will come once his work is complete. Tulsi bumps into Mihir in the kitchen. Tulsi tells Munni to support her because she supports Mihir.
Mihir asks Tulsi for a tea date with him. Tulsi wants to stay home instead.
Precap: Sobha and Munni start planning for Tulsi and Mihir's marriage ceremony.
