Kundali Bhagya offer came to me at the right time: Ashish Trivedi

Ashish Trivedi recently joined Kundali Bhagya and is enjoying playing the character Varun. He says, "I auditioned for the show some time back and after that, I was waiting to hear from the production house. In between, I suffered from dengue and was hospitalised. Luckily, as I recovered, I got a call from the team again to join Kundali Bhagya. So I was glad that it came at the right time, so I could take it up.It is a long-running show, which has been on air for seven years now. So I was excited to be a part of the team."
Talking about his role, he says, "I play Varun, who will marry Kavya in the show. It is a very important character and when I took up this project, I knew that I had to work hard. Audiences have a lot of expectations from the show and the story, so it is my job as an actor to put in my best. I hope that people like my character."
Ashish, who has been part of shows like Dharampatni and Naagin, hopes to play a cop on TV someday. He says, "I really want to play a cop in a uniform. I feel that I will be able to crack the role really well and I also have that rugged look which should suit the role. I really hope that I get to play such a role on TV or any other platform."
