Kumkum still in Nikkhil Arya’s bhagya

The television industry was recently abuzz with news of

'Kumkum Bhagya'

. The rumours were further fuelled with the actor missing from the screen in the last few days. Given that the ‘Tanu-Nikhil versus Pragya’ drama in the show had been garnering high TRPs despite the IPL, Nikkhil’s sudden absence was rather surprising.


There were also reports that other actors were being auditioned, but it wasn’t easy for the production house to zero in on anyone for the role, which Nikkhil had made very much his own with his performance.


So what exactly was going on here, we decided to find out. Though the actor did not respond to our calls, a source from the production house told us that Nikkhil will be back soon. Informs a source associated with the show, “Negotiations were on between him and the production house and they have mutually agreed upon things; Nikkhil has got his number of working days reduced. He has started shooting and will be seen on screen next week.” Finally, the suave baddie of 'Kumkum Bhagya' will be back with all his histrionics.
