Kumkum Bhaygya fame Abhishek Malik's wife Suhani Chaudhary is all set to make her acting debut with a music video. Suhani, who has been a stylist and a social media influencer, spoke about her debut and future plans.
Suhani will be seen in the Qawwali version of the popular song 'Hasta Hua Noorani Chehra' by Niazi Nizami Bros alongside actor Vikram Sharma.
Suhani shared, “I was holidaying in Shimla with Abhishek after he completed his shooting for Kumkum Bhaygya. It was during that time I was offered to act in a song. Earlier I was like someone among my friends is doing a prank with me. As they knew I was on a vacation trip with my man after a long time. And coincidentally the song I was offered was the one Abhishek keeps singing for me. So everything was so clueless till the time I returned. We returned back home in Delhi and I was asked to meet the producer. Abhishek wanted me to figure this out. So I attended the meeting.”
She continued to decode the story behind her unplanned showbiz debut and shared, "I got to meet Mrs. Neerat Kaur, she was directing and producing the song as well. And she mentioned that the song was supposed to be released under Saregama India. And I was sure that I was doing this and I also informed Abhishek about it and he was happy for me."
Suhani is up for acting projects in more music videos and OTT series.
She added, "Neerat was amazing to work with. She spotted me on social media and wanted to cast me in her song. I feel this is a start for me and if I'm offered more opportunities. I'm sure to work with, I want to act more in such music videos or web series. I'm enjoying a very positive response for my song from the audience."
Suhani and Abhishek got married in October 2021. The two had a grand wedding in Delhi.
