Television actor Arjit Taneja wished his rumoured girlfriend Mrunal Thakur on her birthday. The gorgeous actress Mrunal, who played the role of Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya, turned a year older today (August 1). Arjit wished his ladylove most adorably. He shared a throwback picture and a recent picture with Mrunal and captioned the post as, "Happy Birthdayyyy HEROINE! God bless u with more n more n more of blockbusters, success and most importantly happiness Keep rising and shining!!!"

For the uninitiated, Mrunal dated writer Sharad Chandra Tripathi for some time and the two participated in Nach Baliye 7.The couple parted ways after the show and Mrunal is now rumored to be dating her former co-star, Arjit Taneja. Mrunal and Arjit's on-screen chemistry left audiences awestruck. The two haven't confirmed the news yet and keep tagging each other as best friends.
In an interview with TimesofIndia.com, Arjit denied his affair with Mrunal and said, "Such talks are actually ridiculous. Mrunal and I are just very good friends. Both of us really don’t care about our linkup rumours and as long as you know that you are secure in your friendship, it’s all fine and doesn’t matter what people say. Chahe woh relation dushamani ka ho, bhai-behen ka ho, as long as we both know ki jo hai jaisa hai uske baad koi bhi bole, we don't give a damn. It's stupid about people to talk about it. My family laughs it off by saying ‘ki yeh kya ho raha hai’. My mom and dad are quite cool about it and don’t take such gossip too seriously."
On the work front, Arjit is currently seen playing the lead role of Azaan Akhtar Mirza in Bahu Begum alongside Samiksha Jaiswal and Diana Khan. He was last seen in Kaleerein. Mrunal, on the other hand, started her TV career with Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan and was acclaimed for her performance. Later, she was seen in shows including Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun, Kumkum Bhagya, SauBhagyalaxmi and many more. The actress is now trying her luck in Bollywood.
