Shardul says, "During the time of Bandini I used to do a lot of dubbing. I have closely worked with

Leela Ghosh

one of the leading dubbing artists of India. She used to like me a lot and also gave a lot of liberty so I can do my work along with my shooting schedule. I have dubbed for Hollywood films like Avtaar, Terminator, Madacasgar to name a few. Dubbing was fun and that also gave me decent money. And I owe a lot to Leela Ghosh who actually helped me a lot in dubbing."

When asked whether he wanted to take up dubbing as his career, "No not really, I always wanted to act and acting is my passion and i will continue doing that. But yes if I get an opportunity and if time permits I will do. Now the audience awareness is more and people get to know the real voice of any actor. When I was doing dubbing the awareness was not so strong. Later on when actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and many others started dubbing it was more in the news."
