Krushna Abhishek desires to solve issues with mama Govinda; here’s a look at times when he tried to bury the hatchet through jokes and remarks

Krushna Abhishek’s feud with mama Govinda has not stayed away from getting public attention over the years. Their only family war has often created headlines and has given rise to a situation wherein both the families do not see eye to eye. They have been seen attacking each other in public quite a few times. However, Krushna’s response to everything related to his mama in past some time has made it evident that he wants to be pally with him again. Poking fun about their fallout, to taking and reacting to others joking on it and mentioning it every now and then, the comedian’s puns have said a lot. Here’s a look at all the times when Krushna tried to bury the hatchet with mama Govinda with his word play and more.

In the recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Raveena Tandon and Farah Khan, Krushna expressed his desire to resolve the issue between him and Govinda. It was when he prased Raveena and Govinda starrer film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ by giving it a different name. The actor said that he loved her movie ‘Bade Miyan Bade Miyan’ to which Raveena reacted by taking the correct name. In response to this, Krushna said that for him the Chote Miyan is only Bade Miyan. He further added, “Maine jo kuch bhi seekha hai unhi se seekha hai. Woh alag baat hai woh mereko chote miyan nahi maante hai. Theek hai, koi baat nahi, family hai, chalta rehta hai. Karenge baat, solve hoga, koi problem nahi.”

Earlier in one of the episodes featuring Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, Krushna candidly shared about being reminded of mama Govinda. As he entered the stage to perform his set in front of the guests, Krushna greeted Udit Narayan and said, “Aapko dekhke Mamaji ki yaad aa gayi.” While Kapil Sharma and Archana Puran Singh were in splits on hearing this, the guests chose to not respond to the mention.

During the episode featuring Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and SS Rajamouli, Kapil didn’t leave a chance to poke fun at Krushna’s clash with mama Govinda. Amidst a fun conversation with Kapil asked him to mind what he is saying else what will the guests think about him. In reply to this, Krushna said, “Jiska mama uske baare mein nahi sochta to ye log kayeko sochenge (Why will others think about me when even my uncle doesn’t).” This left everyone in splits.

In the episode featuring Tapsee Pannu, Krushna created a wordplay on her film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ while heaving praises about it. He mentioned how he got scared when the bull gave him a gaze. Kapil took this opportunity to poke fun and said, “Isko toh mama bhi aankhen dikha jaate hai,” leaving Krushna stumped. However, he came with a perfect reply and said, “Maine mama ki bhi Aankhen dekhi hai. Chunky Panday tha na usme? Bohot achchi picture thi woh. Bohot mazaa aaya.”

In another episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna stated that he is well aware about films and the film industry as his whole family belongs to the industry. He soon added a fun fact to it by poking fun at his fallout saying “but i’m not a part of the family”. Krushna said, Mereko film industry ka sab pata rehta hai, meri poori family film industry mein hai. Woh alag baat hai aaj kal main family mein nahi hoon.”

Recently, Govinda faced a massive backlash on his latest music video. Unexpectedly, Krushna came out in support of his mama by reacting to the massive trolling. In an interview with a web portal, he stated, “For me, he will always be Hero No.1”

Earlier in September last year, Krushna had openly expressed his wish to resolve the family issue. It was during the Ganpati celebrations that Krushna candidly spoke about the family matter when he was spotted out in the city. Sharing about all that he wishes for, Krushna also said that he wishes that the ‘family matter’ with ‘mama-mami’ also gets resolved soon.

Things have not been fine between Krushna-Govinda and their families for years now. It started when the former got upset with the latter for not appearing on his show and shooting for another comedy show instead. Moreover, one of his jokes ‘Maine Govinda ko mama rakha’ didn’t go down well with the Bollywood actor. Soon things took a serious turn and both the parties were seen targeting each other in the media and public. It escalated even more after Krushna refused to be a part of the episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show that featured Govinda and family. It was in November 2020 that Govinda swear to not discuss any family matters in public. However, the families of the two have not left any opportunity to attack each other over time. Now after much being said and done, it looks like Krushna is wanting to get cordial but no response has been seen from mama Govinda until now.
