Krishh Pathak on his first Makar Sankranti with Ssara Khan: When we celebrate together, we’re creating traditions

Makar Sankranti held special meaning this year for newlyweds Ssara Khan and Krishh Pathak, as they celebrated their first festival together after marriage, embracing family traditions and new beginnings.

One moment from the celebrations stood out for Krishh. Watching Ssara help his mother and learn a cherished family recipe became an emotional highlight. “She looked at me with this proud little smile, as if she were saying, ‘See, I’m learning your traditions,’” he shared. The gesture reflected the spirit of the festival and highlighted how marriage extends beyond two individuals to include families coming together.

TV actress Ssara Khan and actor-producer Krishh Pathak had an intimate court wedding on October 6, 2025, followed by a Hindu wedding ceremony on December 5, 2025, in Mumbai. The two met on a dating app a year earlier. On her wedding day, Ssara, known for shows such as Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, Sasural Simar Ka, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Spy Bahu, shared that both their nikah and saat phere held equal significance for them. “Krishh and I deeply respect each other’s rituals,” she said, adding, “When my father performed my kanyadaan, he was teary-eyed. The feeling was indescribable.”
