​Kimmy Kaur joins Durga - Atoot Prem Kahani after quitting Mangal Lakshmi, says, 'I have already played negative roles now I want to do positive role'

Actress Kimmy Kaur has quit Mangal Lakshmi, in which she played the negative role of Prema, Jiya's mother. The actress has now joined the cast of Durga—Atoot Prem Kahani.
She said, "I'm happy to join Durga. I will be playing Dr Aditi Agarwal in the show. My role is positive and powerful. She is an independent woman and a single mother. She is involved in an extramarital affair with male protagonist Anurag's (Aashay Mishra) father Vikram Singh Rathore (Sachin Verma). The story will unfold more twists and turns."
On quitting Mangal Lakshmi she added, "I was playing a negative role in that show. But my role wasn't getting much screen time. However, I wanted to continue to shoot for both the shows which could be easily managed. But as both the shows air on the same channel, I had to quit one."
Kimmy is known for featuring in shows like Meetha Khatta Pyaar Hamara, Pukaar-Dil Se Dil Tak, Udaariyaan, Ishq Subhan Allah, Mariam Khan Reporting Live, Ishq Par Zor Nahi and more. She concluded, "My experience with Mangal Lakshmi was amazing and it's hard to leave a show. But I have already played negative roles many times. I wanted some change so I took up a positive role."
