'Meri Bhavya Life' is already making noise for its powerful narrative on body positivity and self-worth. At its heart is Bhavya (Prisha Dhatwalia) — a brilliant architect, gold medallist, and a plus-sized woman who’s abandoned at the mandap by a man more interested in her father’s stature than her soul. But Bhavya isn’t one to break — she rebuilds, rising with talent, grace, and unshakable self-belief. Her polar opposite Rishank (Karan Vohra), a fitness fanatic and praise-chaser waltzes into her life, becoming her unexpected challenge.
Adding more sparkle to the show's star-studded cast is the talented actor Khyaati Keswani, all set to portray the role of Sakshi Jaiswal, a woman whose life is measured in designer labels, social ladders, and her son’s “marriage market” value. Kicking off her association with the channel with a character that is anything but conventional, Khyaati plays Sakshi, the elegant but ever-eager matriarch of the Jaiswal household. Her marriage with Nitin Jaiswal (played by Hiten Tejwani) is cordial but devoid of warmth — they’re nice to each other, yes, but their relationship is more function than feeling. What fuels Sakshi, however, is her desperate bid to belong to Bhopal’s crème-de-la-crème. Whether it’s hosting the perfect kitty party or locking in the most “gorgeous” and “well-settled” bahu for her fitness-freak son Rishank, Sakshi leaves no stone unturned to climb the ladder of elite acceptance.
Speaking about her role, Khyaati shares, “Sakshi is the kind of character that’s layered with quiet fire. On the surface, she’s a graceful, composed woman, but beneath that lies ambition, insecurity, and an almost desperate need to be seen as ‘enough.’ What excited me about Meri Bhavya Life is that while it tackles big themes like self-worth and body image, it does so through deeply personal family dynamics — power equations, social pressures, and the roles women play behind closed doors. Sakshi is neither a villain nor a victim, she’s just trying to win in a world that’s constantly changing the rules. She is very proud of Rishank but is well aware that Bua Maa holds a far more influential place in his heart. That insecurity is what drives her to overcompensate — she wants nothing but the most dazzling bride for him, a choice that has often led to hushed gossip and frayed friendships in her kitty circuit. I couldn't be more thrilled to have this show mark my second brush with the channel after Dil se Dil Tak.”
