Kavita becomes Chadramukhi Chautala again

Playing Chandramukhi Chautala in FIR for nine years changed her life, and television actress Kavita Kaushik has not forgotten that. And so, she paid a tribute to the character on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

“Chandramukhi has and will always be a character that will never fade out of people’s memory and this is my tribute to her through dance.I showed a never-seen-before side of Chautala. They called me the raging tigress after the performance,” says Kavita, adding, “The reason behind taking up FIR was that I would get to wear the uniform as my father is an ex–cop. Chautala has become an iconic character on screen, and playing the part again has been an enjoying experience and a walk down memory lane.”
