Kaun Banega Crorepati 17: Can you answer this Rs 12,50,000 question that contestant Lucky Khan could not guess?
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 started with rollover contestant Lucky Khan, from Nawada, Bihar. He had won Rs 5,00,000, in the previous episode and revived his 'Audience Poll' lifeline after wining Super Sandook.
Host Amitabh Bachchan resumed the show and presented the first question for Rs 7,50,000. Which of these companies is not a Maharatna Company? As Lucky was unsure of the answer, he decided to use his lifeline 'Audience Poll'. He locked the most voted answer Option D) Bharat Electronics Limited.
As the show progressed, Mr. Bachchan asked 18-year-old Lucky about his plans for the prize money. The young contestant shared that he dreams of becoming a doctor and wants to pursue an MBBS degree. Since medical education involves high fees, he said he does not wish to place any financial burden on his father, who works as a farmer. Lucky says, "My dream of being a doctor comes with a cost. MBBS karne mein joh fees lagti hai, main chahunga ki main apni family ko support kar sakoon. Kyunki middle class family mushkil se fees afford kar sakti hai. Main koshish kar raha hoon, ke NEET ke through main government medical college mein admission le paaun, usmein kum fees rehti hai."
Host Amitabh Bachchan gave him best wishes for his future. Lucky next faced the question for Rs 12,50,000. From which of these places, that is also home to an IIT, was one of the earliest Indus Valley excavations made in independent India? He used his last lifeline 'Sanket Suchak', but doesn't get any help. Lucky decides to quit the show and Big B asked him to do a guess work. He selects Option A) Chandannagar, which turns out to be a wrong answer. The correct answer was Option C) Rupnagar.
