Kaun Banega Crorepati 17: Amitabh Bachchan’s life lesson on ‘overconfidence’ after 10-yr-old Ishit Bhatt gets trolled; says ‘It can make you lose a winning game’

In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 Juniors Week, rollover contestant Spruha Tushar Shinkhede from Nagpur, Maharashtra takes the hotseat.

Host Amitabh Bachchan parts an important life lesson. He says, “You all have played snakes and ladders in childhood. Just when you are about to win, a snake comes and you lose the game. That snake can entirely change the game. It happens in real life as well. That snake in real life is ‘overconfidence’. All games are based on basic principles – winning, losing, rewards, focus, togetherness, confidence. But, overconfidence can bring you down in one sweep. You know in the story of rabbit and tortoise. It was impossible for the tortoise to win. But rabbit’s overconfidence makes him lose his winning game. Be careful of the risks you take and like a satisfied player play the game with confidence.”

This comes after young contestant Ishit Bhatt has been facing trolls on social media after clips of him from the show went viral. According to viewers, he acted ‘rude’ toward host Amitabh Bachchan. Ishit’s overconfidence left both the audience and Big B surprised as he repeatedly asked the host not to give options or explain the rules to him. Ishit, a young participant from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, displayed an unusual attitude that stirred major controversy.

Talking about the episode, Spruha’s game begins with question for 50,000 points. Spruha wins 90,000 points in Super Sandook round and she revives her audience poll lifeline.
