Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 Promo: Aamir Khan and son Junaid to make an appearance on the quiz show; plan to surprise host Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday
Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 continues to be one of the most popular reality shows, with Amitabh Bachchan at the helm as its host. Over the years, the show has become a beloved classic. Known for his warm and thoughtful surprises for the contestants, Big B himself is in for a major surprise on his birthday during an upcoming episode. Sounds thrilling, doesn’t it? According to a recent promo for KBC 16, Aamir Khan and his son, Junaid Khan, will make a special appearance on the show as guests to celebrate the occasion.
The promo video begins with Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan exiting their vanity van. As they make their way to the set, the Dhoom 3 star whispers, " Shhh, Amit ji ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ki humlog aaj show pe hain. Bolna nahi haan (Shhh, Amit ji shouldn’t find out that we are on the show today. Don't say anything, okay?"). We also see Maharaj actor and son Junaid Khan can be seen walking beside his father flashing a big smile. The promo's caption teases, "Something special is in store for the megastar’s birthday celebration! Watch #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Megastar’s Birthday Special, on October 11th at 9 PM, only on #SonyEntertainmentTelevision."
For those who may not know, Amitabh Bachchan will celebrate his 82nd birthday on October 11 this year. Despite his age, the legendary actor shows no signs of slowing down. Prior to taking up hosting duties for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, he appeared in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD, where he shared the screen with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
When it comes to his connection with KBC, Amitabh Bachchan has been the face of the show since it first began. However, during the third season, Shah Rukh Khan took over as host, but Big B soon made his return. Whether it's sharing personal stories or attentively listening to the contestants' experiences, Amitabh’s presence is a big part of why KBC remains the most loved quiz show of Indian television.
