Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Contestant Sonal Gupta lauds Amitabh Bachchan's fitness; says 'When I turn 50, all I will ask God is to be physically and mentally fit like you'
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with rollover contestant Gracilla Giri from Darjeeling, West Bengal, who won Rs 3,20,000 before exiting the show. Following her departure, Sonal Gupta, a COO at her mother's bakery from Bengaluru, Karnataka, took the hot seat. Sonal Gupta smoothly cleared the first milestone of Rs 10,000. Host Amitabh Bachchan then engaged her in a conversation about her mother’s bakery business, asking when and how it all began.
Sonal shared that her family originally hails from Meerut and that her mother’s bakery journey began in their kitchen. Her mother had always loved cooking and baking, and during one of Sonal's birthday celebrations, she baked a cake that her friends absolutely loved. At the time, her mother was a homemaker, but that moment made her realize she could turn her passion for cooking into something more. Starting from their small kitchen in Bengaluru, they have since grown into a professional operation. Today, they have state-of-the-art equipment, a team of 16 members, and deliver cakes to every corner of Bengaluru. Sonal went on to share how she became involved in her mother’s business. She admitted that she was never interested in baking or cooking initially.
After completing her engineering degree, she worked in the IT industry. However, she soon realized that instead of working for others, she wanted to help elevate her mother’s bakery to new heights. Determined to contribute meaningfully, she quit her job and pursued a Diploma in Patisserie. This decision opened doors for her to travel to France, where she had the opportunity to work under a French chef, gaining valuable experience. She then joined her mother's business in 2019-20.
Big B next read out the Super Sawal. Akash Malhotra, Sameer Mulchandani and Siddharth Sinha are the main characters in which 2001 film? Sonal answered 'Dil Chahta Hai' and won the superpower of Dugnastraa. After answering the next few questions correctly, she reaches the Rs 3,20,000 question. Sonal talks about learning Yoga and practicing it daily. She shares, "After doing yoga, you will rarely have cramps because we continually focus on our breath so there is never shortage of oxygen." Mr Bachchan reveals he also does yoga but that hasn't benefited him. However, Sonal disagrees with him and praises Big B's fitness level at his age. She says, "I never ask anything from god. I always thank God for everything I've received but I'd like to say one thing that after I turn 50, all I will ask for is to be physically and mentally fit like you."
The megastar responds that she will have to do a lot of hard work and he is doing nothing great."

Sonal uses 'Audience poll' lifeline and goes with Option A) Bhagwati Charan Vohra. While thanking the audience, Sonal's chair gets stuck and Big B asks for bribe of cake to rescue her,
