Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Contestant Mukund requests host Amitabh Bachchan to pinch him after he gets a chance to sing with Kumar Sanu over a video call

In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, rollover contestant Mukund Narayan More takes the hotseat. Mukund sings ‘Ek din aap hum mil jayenga’ to convey his feelings about being on the show.

Mukund gifts host Amitabh Bachchan seeds from his farm.

The game begins with Mukund playing for Rs 20,000 question. In a heartwarming surprise, Amitabh Bachchan arranges a video call with Mukund’s favorite artist to fulfill his wish of meeting Kumar Sanu.

When Kumar Sanu appears on the screen, he greets Mukund with the warm words, “Aapka anna kha kar hum jee rahein hai, gana gaa rahe hain, aap bahut mahan kaam kar rahe ho. Aur hum bahut lucky hain ki aap humhare fan ho.” On Mukund’s request, Kumar Sanu also sings “Sochenge Tumhe Pyaar…” with Mukund joyfully joining in.

Mukund tells Big B to pinch him as he can’t believe that he got to sing with Kumar Sanu.

He uses audience poll lifeline for Rs 1,60,000 question: Which asura stole Devi Aditi’s earrings, and wa killed in battle with Lord Krishna and Devi Satyabhama? A. Banasura, B. Bhasmasura, C. Hiranyakashyap, D. Narakasura.

He correctly answers option D.

He uses Dugnaastra for Rs 3,20,000 question and wins bonus amount.

Big B says, “Aap bahut vidwaan hai. Aap farmer hai aur knowledge aap me bahut hai. Aur aapki patni bhi tab se muskuraye jaa rahi hai.”

Mukund says, “I will give this bonus amount to my wife. Paithani saree is out specialty and in 25 years I haven’t gifted her. So I plan to gift her a saree and go on a trip.”


He adds that it would have taken him 10-12 years to win this much amount.

He wins Rs 80,000 in the Super Sandook round and revives audience poll lifeline.

He uses audience poll lifeline for Rs 6,40,000 question: Stretching 30,000 kilometres, the Qhapaq Nan is a road system built in the Andes mountains by which civilization? A. Inca, B. Aztec, C. Lakota, D. Olmec.

He correctly answers option A.

He uses video call a friend: Who is the only former Ambassador to the United States of America to become the president of India? A. Shri R Venkataraman, B. Shri VV Giri, C. Shri KR Narayanan, D. Sr. Shankar Dayal Sharma.

He doesn’t get much help. He also doesn’t wish to use his third lifeline – Double Dip as he is not aware of the answer and hence quits.

Before leaving he answers option C and it happens to be the correct answer. He takes home Rs 6,40,000 and Rs 3,20,000 as bonus.
