The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 started with Amitabh Bachchan welcoming the audience and talking about Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri on their birth anniversaries. He starts the game show with rollover contestant Bhautik Bhanderi from Gujarat, who had won Rs 3,20,000 in the previous episode. Big B shared how he got annoyed in last night's episode as he addressed him with his full name which was Bahutik Bharat Bhai Bhanderi.
Big B reveals that Bhautik complaint to the the KBC team that Bharat Bhai is his father's name and when he addressed him with his full name he did not appreciate it. Big B apologises and presents the 'Super Sandook' question in front of Bhautik. He managed to answer 6 questions correctly and won Rs 60,000. He decides to revive his Audience Poll lifeline.
For the question of Rs 6,40,000, Bhautik takes the help of 'Audience Poll' lifeline. Which of these national flags does not have a depiction of a lion? He goes with the audience and selects Option C) Kenya and it is the correct answer. The contestant is not sure of the answer for Rs 12,50,000 as well and takes the help of lifeline again. He uses 'Video Call A Friend'. but as he is not confident of the answer he takes 'Double Dip' lifeline as well. He selects Option D) Mauritius and it is the correct answer.
He next faces the question for Rs 25,00,000 and decides to take a risk even though he is not confident of the answer. Which planet did NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft orbit or more than four years? He selects Option D) Jupiter but it turns out to be the wrong answer, the correct is Option B) Mercury. Bhautik loses the game and from Rs 12,50,000, he straight comes down to Rs 3,20,000. After Bhautik leaves the show, Big B plays the Fastest Finger First round and Kishor Aher from Bid, Maharashtra, a dedicated librarian preparing for a competitive exam, takes the hot seat, sharing his dream of establishing an educational institute in his village to honor his grandfather, Kishore starts his game on the show.
