Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Advocate Ranveer Raghuvanshi reveals his ideal partner shouldn't be 'chalu'; Big B jokes, 'Lagta hai aap divorce cases zyada dekh rahe ho?'
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 started with a fresh batch of contestants. Host Amitabh Bachchan made a dashing entry on the show and played the Fastest Finger First round and Hitali Jagwani from Akola, Maharashtra made it to the hot seat. She entertained the audience with her jovial nature and took home Rs 6,40,000. After Hitali made an exit from the show, Big B played another Fastest Finger First round and Ranveer Raghuwanshi, from Pipariya, Madhya Pradesh took over the hot seat. Contestant Ranveer, an advocate by profession, prompted host Mr. Bachchan to humorously remark that he would have to choose his words carefully, as he was sitting in front of a lawyer. Ranveer works with his father's firm as an advocate reveals that he brought his mother as his companion on the show because he did not want to come with his boss. Big B bursts into laughter.
Host Mr Bachchan resumed the game with Ranveer and presented the first question for Rs 1000. Which of these refers to money paid regularly to somebody who has retired from work? The contestant selects Option D) Pension and it is the correct option. While discussing food habits after a question, Big B asks Ranveer about his diet and lifestyle. The contestant reveals he is very particular about his diet and makes sure to workout everyday in the gym. He reveals he has been going to the gym regularly for the last three years and it is not to make a good physique but to remain fit. He has days dedicated to body parts. Ranveer shares with Big B that he has seen his photos of working out and has a gym wherever he shoots. Big B responds, "Jee sir main gym leke chalta hoon, aap bahar aayiye toh dikha dunga."
Ranveer jokingly asks Big B, "But vanity vans are small in size? how do you manage?" Big B shares, "Usko thoda sa bada kar diya." Mr. Bachchan humorously reveals, "But brother, the routine you're talking about doesn't work for me. I always say, just keep moving whatever is working in the body. At my age, if you don't move your hands and feet for even a day, they stiffen up and stop working. So, you have to keep doing something every day."
They further discuss the songs they like to listen to while working out. Big B shares that he likes to play the popular ones which have a lot of energy. Big B says, "Hum toh bhaiya koi dhadam dhudum gaane lagate hain taaki awaaz sun ke he shareer chal pade." But Ranveer's revelation that he likes to workout playing romantic songs leaves the host stunned. He then demonstrates on the sets how he worksout playing romantic songs. Everyone bursts into laughter.
Ranveer faces Super Sawaal next. Which language did Shiv Kumar Batalvi and Amrita Pritam primarily write in? The contestant doesn't know the answer and incorrectly answers. He says, "Sanskrit." but the correct answer is, "Punjabi."
For the next question for Rs 40,000, the contestant takes the lifeline 'Audience Poll'. In Hindu mythology, if six regions under the earth are Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talatala, Mahatala, and Rasatala, what is the seventh? He goes with the audience and selects Option C) Paatal and it is the correct answer.
While discussing his life, Big B asks Ranveer, "Iss Ranveer ke pass Deepika hai?" The latter shares that he is single and unmarried and has come on the show with a hope that Amitabh Bachchan will find his Deepika for him. The host praises Ranveer and announces his marriage proposal on national television. When the host asks him about the qualities he would want in his better half, he says, "Sir kuch qualities honi chahiye like she should be understanding, family oriented aur chalu type ki na ho." When Ranveer asks Big B about his views, the latter jokingly says, "Humein lagta hai woh joh divorce cases hote hain na woh aaj kal aap zyaada dekh rahe hain, humko ye bhi chahiye, maintenance bhi chahiye?" The megastar asks Ranveer's mother about the type of girl she would like for her son and then advises Ranveer to follow her choice, saying that mothers have experience and know best when it comes to choosing the right partner.
Mr Bachchan presents the question for Rs 80,000. In 2024, who became the first male cricketer from Assam to play international cricket for India? Ranveer goes with Option A) Riyan Parag and it is the correct answer. The episode comes to an end.
