has begun and fans are eager to see
Erica Fernandes and
Parth Samthaan reprising the roles of Prerna and Anurag. The latest to join the list of admirers is the original Prerna,
Shweta Tiwari.
The actress has shared her excitement in a video that is going around on social media. Shweta is not only happy with the news of KZK's comeback, but has also given a thumbs up to the lead actress Erica.
She said in the video: "Bohat khushi horahi hai, Erica bahut aachi ladki hai. Kitni acchi baat hai. I am also going to watch Kasautii this time. (I am very happy. Erica is a very good girl. It's a good thing [that the show is coming back]. I am going to watch Kasautii this time)."
Popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay featured Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan in the lead roles. Their on-screen romance was loved by the audiences. Shweta played the role of Prerna Basu, while Cezanne essayed the role of Anurag Basu on the show. Recently, a promo starring Erica was released by the makers where she was seen wearing the same iconic black salwar suit with red dupatta that Shweta Tiwari sported in the promo of the hit show. It made fans quit nostalgic.
The original series ran for eight long years and made TV celebs like Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Urvashi Dholaki and Karanvir Bohra a household name.
