In the last episode of
Kasam
, Kritika looks for ghee in the kitchen and
Ranbir
hands over the bottle to her. The two sit in the puja and pray to the lord. Pundit Ji tells them that it’s an auspicious moment and they can ask what they desire the most.
Sitting in their respective places, Ranbir feels a strange connection with Kritika. He prays she agrees to be his forever. Kritika asks god to give whatever she deserves. She too feels attracted to Ranbir. The two look at each other.
Seeing Kritika and Ranbir happy,
Malishka
arrives at their doorstep. She decides to destroy the Kapoor mansion by burning it. When she does so, everyone begins to run when they catch sight of the fire. Pundit Ji rushes to go out but then goes back to pick god’s idol. To save him, Kritika, too, gets caught in the fire. Ranbir comes to save them.
The two begin to get flashes of the past when a pillar falls over Ranbir and he faints. Kritika recalls she is
Tanu
, as she calls Ranbir, Rishi. She helps Ranbir regain consciousness and together, they manage to save themselves from the fire. When they come out, Mahima and Balraj give their blessings to them. Even Akki reunites with Jiana and the show ends on a happy note.
