Kartikey Malviya who is currently 21-year-old, started his acting career when he was 13. The actor has been part of TV shows like Karmaphal Daata Shani, Chandragupta Maurya and others.
Working as a child artist isn't easy as one doesn't have to shoot for shows and ads but also focuses on their studies. Talking about it, Kartikey shared how he used to manage his studies along with acting earlier. He said, "When I was younger, I didn't take exams till Grade 8 as my school was supportive. Teachers used to come to the TV sets and teach me. I used to study and work at the same time."
He further added, "Shooting for TV shows needs time and focus. I didn't just have to shift my focus from studies to work but even when I was shooting for Chandragupta Morya, I had an opportunity to be part of a film with a big production house and I had to give that up as I couldn't have managed to do the TV show and a movie while I was still studying. But has to make choices. One thing that I have learned over these years is, that one has to keep working as an actor so that people don't forget."
Earlier in an interview with us, spoke about how being a child artist has helped him. He said, "I have a long way to go, I am working on my acting skills. My experience as a child artiste has only helped in my craft but there is a lot more to learn."
