There is buzz that the TV show Imlie is headed for another leap and this time the actors will exit the show and a new set of actors will take over. However, the news is baseless, says Karan Vohra, who plays the lead. He says, "I have received many calls about this today but it is not true. Our show just took a leap two months ago and we are not headed for another leap.
I am not exiting the show. As of now, we are doing well and there is no leap or exit happening in the show."
Imlie had taken a 5-year leap a couple of months ago, and both Karan and Megha Chakraborty's characters are now parents to a 5-year old daughter in the show. In September 2022, the show had taken a generation leap when Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan, who played the lead roles, had exited the show.
On the personal front, Karan just recently became a father to twin babies. The actor is currently in his hometown Delhi, to visit his wife and babies. He shares, "I plan to visit them for 2-3 days in a month till they fly back with me to Mumbai. I am enjoying looking after my babies and spending quality time with my wife." In an earlier interview, Karan had shared, "When I had joined the show my wife had told me that she was pregnant. It was a great moment for me both personally and professionally."
