Karan inks wife Ankita’s design

Marriage seems to have changed actor Karan Patel for the better. After failing to muster the courage to get inked for several years, Karan finally got his wish fulfilled in Goa, where he was on a short break with his wife Ankita Bhargava. Says the actor, “I have been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time. It finally happened in Goa.”
The actor has got the symbols of ‘Allah’, ‘Om’ , a cross and ‘one love’ written on the front and back of his forearms.Ask him what made him choose the designs and he replies, “A tattoo stays with you for life. So I chose these symbols as I believe that humanity is above all religions.”

Since wife Ankita was with him on the trip, didn’t she persuade him to get her name inked? “No,” he says, “In fact, the ‘one love’ tattoo is her writing. She wrote it down and we traced it on my forearm. We also plan to get a six-pointed star inked soon, where the left half will be on her hand, the right half will be on mine. Once we hold hands together, it will become a six-pointed star,” he concludes.
