Actor Karam Rajpal, who was last seen on ‘
Chandrashekhar
’, is all set to join the cast of ‘
Musakaan
’, which features
Yesha Rughani
and
Ssharad Malhotra
in lead roles. Karam's entry will result in a love triangle between him, Ssharad and Yesha on the show.
Karam, who became a household name with ‘
Mere Angne Mein’, says, “I play Sujoy, who is Musakaan’s closest friend and confidant. He is extremely caring and protective of her and can’t see her in pain or trouble. He can go to any extend to keep her happy.”
“There is an element of mystery in my character, which will be revealed at a later stage. I am not at liberty to disclose it at this moment. All I can say is that this character has a unique personality and a different thought process than others on the show,” he adds.
Ask him why he chose to join an ongoing show, which already has a male lead in Ssharad, instead of picking a fresh one, and he replies, “It’s not always about playing lead roles. For me, it’s about how creatively satisfied I would be playing a certain character. So, playing a suitable and powerful role means a lot more than the lead to me.”
