Kapil Sharma, Remo D’Souza, and others receive death threats; police lodges FIR against unidentified person: Report

The Amboli Police Station in Mumbai has officially registered the FIR against an unidentified individual under Section 351(3) of the Bombay Police Act (BNS). Meanwhile, Remo D’Souza has also alerted authorities about a similar email he received, while a non-cognizable offense has been recorded in response to Sugandha Mishra’s complaint.
The disturbing chain of events began on December 14 when Kapil Sharma received a death threat via email, signed off under the alias “BISHNU.” The sender demanded a response within eight hours, warning of severe consequences if ignored. The email ominously stated, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important to bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you; we urge you to treat this message with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”
