The countdown for Bigg Boss 17's launch episode has begun and the ardent fans of the controversial reality show can't keep calm to see Bollywood Superstar returning as the host for the new season. Promos of the premiere episode have already heightened the excitement level of the audience and they are eagerly waiting to know who are the contestants this season.
The latest we have heard is that Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki fame Rinku Dhawan has been finalised as one of the contestants this season.
The actress, who shot to fame after playing the role of Chhaya Agarwal and has been part of numerous shows like Yeh Vaada Raha, Gupta Brothers, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahan amongst others, have given her nod to participate in the show. While in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar played the lead roles, Rinku played, Kiran's on-screen sister.
However, in real life, Rinku was married to Kiran Karmarkar. The couple fell in love with each other while working on the show and eventually got married. In 2017, the duo decided to part ways and got divorced. They share a cordial relationship and in fact stay in the same society. Rinku is known for her acting skills and for one of her roles, she had even shaved off her head. She has a strong personality and is someone who never minces with her words.
Coming back to Bigg Boss 17, the show has a Dil, Dimaag and Dum concept this time as explained by host Salman Khan in the promos of the show. Leading real-life couples of the television industry is also expected to enter the show. Celebrities who are rumoured to be doing Bigg Boss 17 are Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Jigna Vohra, Munawar Faruqui, Khanzadi aka Firoza Khan amongst others.
Bigg Boss 17 is slated to go on-air from October 15 and will be hosted by Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.
