Taking to his Instagram, Ali posted a sweet picture of him and his grandmother, and captioned the post, “I will never forget the things my daadi taught me & how loved she made me feel. Your memories will be cherished forever. RIP Daadi �� �� #innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun”
The comments section quickly filled up with industry friends and fans leaving their messages of comfort and support for Ali and his family. This is definitely a difficult time for Ali, as everyone knows how special and close bond Ali shared with his grandmother. Ali’s admiration and deep love for his Daadi, is evident in his post. Ali Merchant recently tied the knot in Lucknow in the presence of his family with Andleeb Zaidi on November 2.
On the work front, Ali, who has acted in projects like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Saat Phere, Bandini, is set to make his Bollywood debut in a lead role, in a film produced by Faizuddin Siddiqui and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
