Jiya and I had a fight but things are fine between us now: Paras Arora on his link-up rumour and fight with his Kaatelal & Sons’ co-actor
After his last outing, Kaatelal & Sons, which ended in August 2021, Paras Arora is all set to play the male lead in Dil Diyaan Gallaan (DDG), which will hit the tube next month. The actor is quite excited about the show and says that the story is the strength of DDG.
However, he has also been in the news for his personal life. Paras was linked with his Kaatelal & Sons co-actor Jiya Shankar, who is currently seen in Pishachini. However, they recently unfollowed each other on social media sparking rumours of trouble in their relationship.
Paras clarifies that Jiya and he were just friends and there was nothing more to their equation. He says, “Jiya and I are just friends. We had a fight following which, we unfollowed each other. Things are fine between us now and we are in touch. I talk to her sometimes. However, we haven’t followed each other back, as fans get quite affected when you follow or unfollow your co-actor. They start fighting with each other even after you have sorted out your differences. But you never know, we might follow each other again.”
The actor insists that he is single. He says, “I am more focussed on my work and want to give it more attention. But if a special person comes into my life and things feel right, I will follow my heart.”
What does he think about marriage? “I am in a highly-competitive and insecure profession. First, I need to feel settled. I think I will be mentally ready to get married in the next three to four years,” he signs off.
