. Better known as Thapki in '
Thapki Pyar Ki
', the actress, who was reportedly in a relationship with Ankit, has now moved on to Manish. Informs a source from the set, “Jigyasa and Ankit split recently. Initially, there was awkwardness, but the former lovebirds seem cordial now. Soon after the split, Jigyasa started dating Manish.”
However, the actress insists that there is nothing brewing between her and her co-actors. “I am not here to date. Also, I feel that I am not dating material. Ankit is a friend and we chill together on the set. He helped me initially as I was new to the industry. We have not stopped talking to each other, we have just become more careful about our conduct. My statement ‘Ankit and I are more than good friends’ was misconstrued and people assumed we were in a relationship. I had a chat with him and we decided to refrain from posting our pictures on social media and making such statements,” she reveals.
And what about the rumours of her growing proximity to her current hero? “Manish and I have played spouses in the regional show 'Chore Tera Gaon Bada Pyara'. It’s just a coincidence that we were paired opposite each other in all the four shows that I had auditioned for. Unfortunately, those projects never took off. I was surprised to learn that he will be opposite me in this show as well. He is my best friend — we fight, argue and come back together,” she replies.
