Actress Kajal Pisal feels celebrating Christmas is all about spreading happiness and making lasting memories. The actress currently seen in the TV show Jhanak as the antagonist Tanuja Basu, finds the festival the most magical time of the year, a season of joy, love, and togetherness.
She said, "Christmas is celebrated to honour the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time of joy, love, and unity, cherished by people of all ages. The season brings families, friends and communities together, creating an atmosphere of happiness and hope."
She continued, "I love everything about this festival. And I enjoy decorating a Christmas corner in my house. As in I'm shooting so my preparations for Christmas began weeks before in advance. I love twinkling lights, Christmas trees, stars and ornaments. It's fun how the streets are adorned and celebrated with great enthusiasm. Shopping malls buzz with excitement as people buy gifts, festive outfits, and holiday treats."
Kajal believes Christmas also teaches us the value of giving and hope.
She shared, "The essence of Christmas lies in acts of kindness and sharing. Whenever I get time, I enjoy volunteering and helping the less fortunate by donating food, clothing, and toys, embodying the true spirit of the season. Beyond the festivities, Christmas reminds us to cherish our relationships and practice compassion, making it a festival of both joy and reflection."
