For Karishma Sharma, her fun trip to Australia turned quite painful, literally. The actress, who is presently shooting for 'Silsila Pyaar Ka', was chilling on the beaches in the island continent when a jelly fish stung her. What’s more, the doctors also advised her to stay off water for 20 days, putting a dampener on her plans.
Karishma says, “On day one, I went to the Gold Coast with plans of scuba diving.
I was chilling in the water when I felt a burning sensation on my wrist. I freaked out when I saw tentacles stuck to my skin. That’s when locals told me that it was a jelly fish and that its sting could be poisonous. I went to the doctor and he told me not to visit the beach for the next few days. All my plans went for a toss and I spent the rest of my stay shopping with my cousins, drowning my sorrow!”
