Jaipur boy Himanshu Soni, who was gearing up for his Bollywood debut with the upcoming film 'Yeh Hai India', has decided to walk out of the project. Himanshu rose to fame with lead roles in television shows such as 'Buddha' and 'Neeli Chhatri Wale'.
He also shot a few scenes for the film, which is currently being shot in Jaipur. The mahurat shot of the film was picturised on the actor at a hotel near Jaipur.

I didn’t like the way the production team is working. The film is my debut in Bollywood and I can’t take any risk. My entire career is on stake and I am not at all happy with the way the makers are working on it.
Things do not seem to be the way they were promised to me. I have decided to quit rather than regretting later.”
The film revolves around an NRI boy who comes back to India to reconnect with his roots. Featuring actors like Mohan Agashe, Surendra Pal and Asrani, along with UK model-turned-actress Deana Uppal, the film also stars Roadies winner Ashutosh Kaushik.
According to a source from the production team, “There were various reasons for this decision, including the low budget and unprofessional approach of the makers. Sensing the situation, Soni decided to walk out of the project. The makers want to retain him, though, as it would be difficult for them to find a replacement at such a short notice.”
However, producer cum co-director of the film Lom Harsh says, “We had some issues regarding professionalism and punctuality. Himanshu missed his flight for Jaipur and reached late on the mahurat shot. When renowned actors like Mohan Agashe, Surendra Pal can report on the sets bang on time at five in the morning, we expect others to follow the rules, too. Himanshu is expected to be there on time too. As far as the issue of him backing out is concerned, we are still under talks and trying to settle the matter.”
