Next day, when I got my reports, it was confirmed that I was COVID-19 positive. Sheetal (Himanshu’s wife) was very worried and I also got scared. Thankfully, everything is under control now. Today, I will be going for an antibody test.”
Sheetal had tested positive in the first week of August, though she has completely recovered now. The actor says that he did not inform about his illness to his parents, who stay in Jaipur. “They got really worried when they got to know about Sheetal. So, we decided not to disclose my illness to them. Also, since they are in Jaipur, I didn’t want them to get worried for me. I told them I was under the weather and had caught a cold,” he says. During home isolation, Himanshu did some pranayama and few other breathing exercises. “I watched a lot of movies and did yoga. Generally, I do a lot of cycling to stay fit. Since I could not step out, I did yoga instead. It helped me stay calm. Thankfully, 50 % of my taste and smell has recovered,” he adds. The actor wants people to take coronavirus seriously. “I want people to stay healthy and fit. They should not take life so lightly. If they have fever or loss of taste or smell, they should immediately get themselves tested,” he says.
