Jai Singh on Ishq Par Zor Nahi going off air: We have to take things with a pinch of salt and move on
Jai Singh
, who is currently seen inIshq Par Zor Nahi
that is going off air soon, says that one has to take things in their stride during these uncertain times. The actor made his debut with Pavitra Bhagya, which also went off air amid the pandemic. Talking about shows ending abruptly, Jai says, “We are amid the pandemic and some things are not in our control. These are difficult times, so we have to be courageous. We all want our shows to run for longer, but when the show takes a hit due to COVID-19 situation in the country, we need to understand and stay positive. WhenPavitra Bhagya
was axed, the entire cast supported each other. The news of Ishq ParZor Nahi
ending came as a shock to be honest because things are getting better and the pandemic situation seems to be under control. Yet, things didn’t work out for us, which makes me feel sad.”Ila Arunji
called me to share how sad she feels that our show is ending. She said in such times, our content was nice and relatable. We didn’t have women characters wearing jewellery and going to sleep, the costumes were up to the mark. Yet, the makers decided to take the show off air. It is sad, but we have to take things with a pinch of salt and move on.”The actor says that despite everything, he chooses to remain positive. He says, “May be our journey was meant to be only till here. We have lovely memories of the show. Maybe there's something better coming our way.”
