. "I order the raw materials from my hometown Lucknow every year but this year I am not doing it. This sukhi sewaiyan is something I enjoy making every year. Right from cutting the Badam and Pista and cooking it for hours for bulk distribution I do everything myself. It is so tasty and rich in taste that as soon as one eats a spoon it melts in the mouth." shares Lubna.
On the Chand Raat, which is the night before Eid she makes sure that everything is set and all the preparations are done for the next day right from clothes to the food items. She also has a special Chand Raat tradition which she follows with her husband every year. "My husband takes me to the market every year to buy new bangles for the festival and I am missing this a lot." adds Lubna.
Since no gatherings and elaborate feasts would be happening this year, it will be a working Eid for her. "Since the past few days I have been shooting at home for a project I am currently involved in and I think after the prayers and mini feast I would resume shooting back. Everyone who visits us at Eid has asked us to pray for the betterment of the people and wish that all this chaos ends soon." shares Lubna.
