She recounts, “I didn’t know anyone in Mumbai and had to figure out everything on my own. I found a PG accommodation and shared the house with two girls, who I began to trust very soon. As I started getting work, they got jealous of me, morphed my face on an inappropriate picture and put it up on social media with my mobile number.”

She adds, “I started getting weird calls and it was scary. That’s when I approached the Cyber Crime cell. I was shocked to find out that my roommates were behind it, but the experience taught me to always be cautious in life.”

The Pyar Tune Kya Kia actress says that newcomers in showbiz have to be strong and alert. “There will always be people who offer you advice, it is up to you how you want to navigate through it. I’m glad I never gave up and was able to fulfil my dream of becoming an actress,” she concludes.
