It was fun to watch Rithvik play the dhol at my wedding: Paritosh Tripathi

Anchor-comedian Paritosh Tripathi surprised everyone with his shaadi on December 10. Paritosh, who is popularly known as 'mamaji' on Super Dancer, tied the knot with model-actress Meenakshi Chand at a resort near Dehradun. He had invited just a few close friends including Pankaj Tripathi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Geeta Kapoor.

Paritosh and Rithvik are known for the jokes they crack on Super Dancer. For the wedding, Rithvik was in full form. Paritosh says, "I was overjoyed to see Rithvik bajaoing the dhol, it was a lot of fun. Rithvik came from Mumbai to Dehrarun to attend my wedding.
Pankaj Tripathi also attended my wedding. He and Pankajji are my close friends. I was happy that they were with me on my big day."

Meanwhile, the couple will have to delay their honeymoon because Paritosh had to return to Mumbai soon after his wedding for a show. He says, "I enjoy doing films and anchoring on TV. Anchoring has given me popularity in showbiz, especially Super Dancer. I had to return to Mumbai soon after my marriage because I had to anchor a show. We will plan a honeymoon sometime soon." Paritosh has been part of films like Ludo and Janhit main Jaari. He said, "It has been a hectic month. After my wedding, I had to catch the next flight from Dehradun and come to Mumbai for a show. I had to anchor it. We will soon host a wedding reception for friends in Delhi and Mumbai. I am glad that my wedding was a lovely affair."
