"I feel that the world is becoming more and more fake by the day. When someone ends their life by suicide, there are messages pouring on social media 'RIP' and how they were great friends of the deceased. But, my point is where are these individuals when that person was alive. Why didn't you reach out when he or she was alive? When a person undergoes depression, they withdraw and go into a shell and one should reach out to such a person. Friends need to ask and figure out and have heart-to-heart conversations with him or her rather than remembering someone when they are gone."

Ratan added, "It is sad what happened with Tunisha Sharma. I feel that people need to reach out to their friends and have more genuine conversations."

On the professional front, Ratan was last seen in the TV show Santoshi Maa: Sunayein Vrat Kathayein. The actress has also been part of shows like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Mahabharat. She also participated in Ratan Ka Rishta, many years ago.
