Sagar Parekh, who recently entered the show Pandya Store, is not disappointed with the show wrapping up by the end of this month. Pandya Store recently took a 5-year leap and the track focussed on how the lead actress Priyanshi Yadav's character loses her memory and is living in Mumbai with Sagar's family in the show.
Sagar said, "I was very excited when they offered me the role of Shantanu. After Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Anupamaa, I wanted to do something substantial and not get slotted into a typical role. In the past 10 days, my role has only gotten better. I am playing the parallel lead and my character is very different. I grew a beard and even worked out a lot to look leaner in the show. It is sad that the show is wrapping up but these things are not new in TV. I am glad that a show like Pandya Store will have me in the last few episodes. Honestly speaking, it is not my loss. I feel I got a good role, the tracks are focussed on me currently."
He added, "Everyone wants a show to run for a longer period of time, but I am happy that I got a chance to be part of a good show after acting in Anupamaa."
The current track focusses on how Natasha (Priyanshi Yadav) has lost her memory and does not remember that she has a daughter. She lives in Mumbai with Shantanu. She is going to get married to Shantanu. And the Makwana family in Somnath hate Natasha because they feel she was responsible for Amrish's (Ankur Nayyar) death.
