It is beautiful: Gautam Rode and Pankhuri on a babymoon in Udaipur

Gautam Rode and wife Pankhuri Awasthy, who are expecting their first child, recently enjoyed a babymoon in lake city Udaipur. Gautam says, “Everytime we have visited Udaipur, we have loved the city. It is beautiful, charming, romantic and has its own unique beauty. So when we were planning for a brief getaway, Udaipur was the obvious choice.”

Pankhuri is six months pregnant and their baby is due in the month of August. Rode further adds, “This time we wanted to spend some quality time with each other, without any travel hassles. A place where we can stay, relax, and rejuvenate at a place which is far from Mumbai but gives us a homely feel. Udaipur perfectly suited the bill.” The couple spent 4 days in the city. When we reached the hotel, we were given a surprise welcome by the staff with a cake and balloons. We both felt very happy. Though we were mostly in the hotel only, we also went out in the local market. Pankhuri also picked up some bandhani stuff and jewellery and some other knick-knacks.”
The doting hubby Gautam is trying his level best to make his wife feel special. “Being a husband, it is my responsibility to make her feel happy and relaxed. We keep talking to our baby and this feeling is just surreal. We have also short listed few names both girl as well as boy, since we don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl. Currently our focus is on our baby,” signs off Gautam.
