Iqbal Khan turns down four shows?
Iqbal Khan might have been out of action for some time now, but strangely, that didn’t affect his popularity or demand
We hear Iqbal was asked to play the older version of MaharanaPratap inBharatKa Veer PutraMaharanaPratap. The actor was also offered the role of Karan in the soon-to-be aired show, Mahabharat.
But the actor refused as it entailed staying out of Mumbai for an extended period of time. “My one-and-half year old daughter Ammaara is the greatest gift God has given me. I cannot miss out on seeing her grow up. One or two days or even weeks are fine, but I cannot stay away from home for more than that,” Iqbal smiled. However, when contacted, the producers of the two shows refused to confirm the news.
Apparently, he was also approached for Bigg Boss 7 andNachBaliye 6. When quizzed, Iqbal, who was last seen in Yaaahan Main GharGharKheli, said, “I was approached for Bigg Boss earlier too. But like last time, I have refused. But then, you never know... you might see me doing it next time. As for NachBaliye, I didn’t take up the show because my family is very private. I am here to entertain people, my family isn’t.”
Buzz is that Iqbal has been finalized to play the lead opposite ShraddhaArya in Shashi and SumeetMittal’s next. We hope number five works for you, Iqbal.
